A Dustin Pike Card

I am back home from my long stay in Texas and finally back in my craft room. This morning I decided to make my grandson a birthday card with one of Dustin Pike's cute as can be images. I just love his characters. This birthday bear was one of his freebies he gives away weekly.

I've used Copics to color most of the Dustin Pike digis but this time I decided to try out my wonerful Prisma colored pencils. Photography is not my forte so the camera seems to have robbed some of the vibrancy of the colors and the clouds also disappeared. It is a vibrant colorful piece when seen in person. Of course, it may be the acetate I added to make it look like a framed picture. This little card is dimensional and looks as though it is behind a glass frame.

What is a birthday card without a party favor? I rolled up a piece of the red scrap paper I had after cutting it out with the Silhouette then, used some of the orange scrap paper to make the finge coming out of the party blower.

Here is the Dustin Pike Birthday Bear card I wanted to share with all of you who pop in on my blog. Thanks for coming by for a visit. Don't forget; our group over at the Silhouette Plus Group Forum who would love to have you join up and participate in some shares and fun.
