Deck the Halls Pop Up Card

I'm back! Yes, it's still a road to travel but I'm on my way to healing. The best news ever was given to me yesterday when I learned the biopsy came back as BENIGN!!...woohoo!

Before my surgery I was working on another Pop Up Christmas card. Only recently, did I feel like test cutting this file. I'm happy to be sharing this with all of you. I hope it will help with your holiday card making. Hugs, Debbie

This cutting file is in .svg, .dxf, and Studio formats. You can download it here: Deck the Halls Pop-Up Card

I wanted to make sure I let everyone know the card embellishments on the front of the card (in the picture below) are not included in the cutting file. I know you all will make yours beautiful.

Nativity Pop Up Card

As I am getting my mind prepared for having surgery this coming Tuesday, I've tried to keep my hands and head busy. It's pretty easy for me to stay busy as my favorite holiday season nears. I love Christmas! The celebration of our Lord's birthday is a time for reflecting on the blessings of giving. With this in mind, I would like to start off giving everyone what I hope is the first of a series of Christmas pop up cards.

This cutting file has the .svg,, .dxf, and Studio cutting file. Have fun making your holiday cards. I hope this one will be useful. The front of the card isn't my design so it's not included in this cutting file. You can purchase it from the Silhouette store. :)

You can download the cutting files here -------> Nativity Pop Up Card Cutting Files

Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs, Debbie

Lettering Delights Create A Face set

Right now, Lettering Delights is offering a free file cutting folder. Once I went to check out the folder and saw the new Create A Face sets; I had to get them. I know my great nieces and granddaughters will have so much fun with these.

I will let everyone in on a secret, "DON"T BUY CHEAP MAGNETIC SHEETS!" .....LOL. The time it took me to make these could have been cut in half if I didn't buy these cheap printable magnetic sheets that promised the world and QUICK DRYING...NOT! I really couldn't believe the mess.IWhat brand of magnetic sheets are best? I really don't know what brand is best but, this brand is not. It's the LD Premium Magnetic Glossy Photo Paper from Amazon. It's the one which is priced at 20 sheets for $28.99.

Well, all is well that ends well. I finally let the sheets dry for a long time, doubled up on the sheets for the doll heads and then the fun began as I blinged up some jewelry and head bands. I didn't purchase the "Bling" sets over at Lettering Delights so I winged it with the Studio software and created a few pieces. I think every little girl, and even some big girls like me :) will have hours of fun playing with these.

On the Create A Face file folder, I added an extra pocket to the back because the blonde, pony tailed girl wouldn't fit on the inside. This set has so many adorable faces. I can't wait to make some more.

Santa's Village Cutting Files

A great big thanks goes out to Noella Designs for sharing these free printables of an adorable little Santa Village. These free printables come with the templates and instructions to create a 3D miniature Village with lots of little extras for embellishing the building.

When Tine (Addie24) from our Silhouette Plus forum and her blog; Crafting Christine posted this share I couldn't wait to turn them into cutting files and make them with my buddy, the Silhouette Cameo. These all went together so well. Noella Designs did a fantastic job. I'm grateful for their generous share.

The templates did have to be increased to 450 percent to get nice size houses. Once I did this, it was just a matter of making all of the cut lines in the right places. I hope you and yours will enjoy these. They are a lot of fun to make for both adults and children. I'm thinking about using one of Tine's suggestions and making them into boxes for holiday gift giving.

Happy Crafting Everyone!

You can download the cutting files for Noella Designs Santa's Village by clicking on the link. It will include both Studio, .svg files, pictures and instructions. Santa's Village Cutting files

Trying To Send Thank You Gifts

Hello, I wasn't sure how to get his message out so I'm blogging about it....lol. I tried to send all of those whom made a kind and generous donation to help in my efforts to stay at home and create cutting file shares some extra cutting files as a small gift of appreciation.

When I tried to email a couple of the ladies these files I received one email address error. The first names of these ladies are Diane and Maria. If you see this blog, please email me from the email link here on my blog. It's on the upper right hand side.

I finished the other two boxes as part of the complete set of 6 Christmas boxes. I wanted everyone to be able to create a sort of wall box art Christmas tree. At the very last minute of this evenings test cutting I decided to design the 3D star to place on the top.

Please, if anyone who has donated didn't receive the 3 sets of Thank You cutting files; please email me. I truly appreciate the kindness you all have shown.

A Special Thank You Gift

I want to take the opportunity to thank those whom have so generously donated to my blog. I love to share and make things for others. It's good for the soul.

Those of you whom donated to my blog have made me feel very appreciated so I wanted to make some special cutting files to share with you to show you how much your kindness has meant to me.

As I enjoy the feeling of giving I also feel blessed to receive. Many thanks to all of you for the kindness you have shown.

The set of Christmas wall hanging boxes, the clipboard, note paper, and pocket card with easel will be emailed to you in a zipped file. If you don't receive it, please let me know by emailing me. I some times mess up when I'm sending out emails.

Hugs,
Debbie

Here is a peek of what you will be receiving in an email. I am using the pocket card with easel to set out for our Thanksgiving dinner. I used the Cornucopia image I shared here to place the names on. The leaves were glittered up with some Stickles. Each member of the family will write on the note paper, what they are most thankful for. At the end of the dinner, I'll ask them all to take them home so they can always take a look at what they are thankful for when they have one of those days which may bring them down.

2013 Matchbook Template and Calendar

Good Sunday everyone, I shared the calendar cut out on the Silhouette Plus forum. Afterwards, I made a matchbook template so the 2.75 x 2.75 2013 Calendar cut outs could be placed in a matchbook to make some nice stocking stuffers.

You can fill the template with your favorite background pattern and make them your own. To hold the calendar pages inside you can either use a staple that will punch into all of the layers or use some Aleen's Tacky Glue on the bottom edges and place them in the matchbook up folded portion. When you use a staple it is necessary to use the little strips that are in the cutting file to cover the staple. You can also you the little strip for a bit of added embellishment.

If you would like to download these cutting files; both are in the .zip folder. The files are in Studio, .svg, and .dxf file formats. Click here to download -----> 2013 Calendar and Matchbook Template
