A Easy Peasy Crystal Flower Embellishment

Hello, I love to embellish cards. One of the things I fiddle around with a lot is making up new things to embellish hand-made cards. These add the ooolala to all sorts of crafts and cards. With all of the wonderful blogs out there in cyber space I have learned a lot of neat ideas to make embellishments. Here is a simple one I came up with.

1. Punch out three layers of acetate  flowers with your choice of a floral punch.
2. Grab some ink and rub it on the punched acetate flowers. Make each layer a little darker than the other.
2. Arrange the layers from the lightest on the bottom to the darkest on tip. I used glue dots toadhere each layer and added a crytalfor the centr of the flower. Buttons, flower soft and so many other things can be used.

This was a fun and easy embellishment to make. Below is a picture of how I used it with a digi stamp by Sliekje. She shares her wonderful talents by offering free digi stamps.I love her work and truly appreciate her as an artist. Here is a link to her blog: http://sliekje.blogspot.com/2010/07/wedding.html

Here is a close-up of the little crystal flower.

Have fun with this simple crafting idea. If you try this. please share your experinece.

A love affair with paper

Hello, This is my first time attempting a blog. It will certainly be a challenge to learn as much as I can.

Paper crafting is my passions in crafting. Paper can be used in so many different creative ways.It would be a nice opportunity to share some of the ways use paper as an art medium. First I have to figure out how to post pictures here....lol

I have learned so much by visiting other blogs and the many wonderful on-line tutorials on YouTube. Hopefully, I will learn how to make tutorials and share them here.

Here is my first try at loading some pics of the ATC's I have just recently finished. I found these to be so much fun and relaxing to make.

There are a lot of places to trade them. Doesn't this sound like fun? The first sets of ATC's I made were all hand drawn on a 2 x 3 inch of paper. I mounted them on the ATC format of 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Thanks for stopping by a new blog under construction.
