Double Lid Box Freebie

I'm a busy blogger today. I was working on a box to try out for an up coming birthday party. The them is lady bugs. I just threw this one together to show you what the box looks like after it is cut and assembled. I made it to fit on a letter size piece of card stock so all of you with various Silhouette cutting machines can use it.

For my granddaughter's favor boxes the lid knob will be a lady bug. I'm anxious to see how it will turn out so, back to the crafty room. This is my favorite room in the house.

This box I call the Double Lid box can be downloaded here: Double Lid Box Studio Cutting File Download

If you get the chance to make and decorate one of your own I sure hope you will share it with me. I love to see what others do with cutting files I've shared.

Happy crafting and creating everyone. Thanks for popping in for a visit.

  1. Thank you Debbie! This is once cute box. My granddaughter's birthday is coming up next month and this will be perfect for her little get together. I always make her cake (this year it will be cupcakes) and it will be nice to have something for all of her friends. You are always so generous with your files! Thank you.

  5. Hi Marilyn, thank you for stopping in. I wanted to let you know, all of the cutting files I share will fit on letter size card stock. I know many people own the original Silhouettes and the SD so this makes it easy for all Silhouetters. :)

  10. Oh - I love this box but did not download it because I had to "sign up" or "log in"......oh gosh, another program to download? I don't think my computer can take it...................is that the only way to get this file?

  11. Update from patti: I am able to download the phot of the box (jpeg file) but the cutting file............it didn't pop up to download. If it is the 4shared right next to the jpeg downlaod, then it is another application (.exec) that I would have to install and run.........how is everyone else downlaoding these files or do I have to open my Silhouette to import? What am I doing wrong?

  12. Hi Patti, I sent you an email with the file attached. My friend had called me, because she was having issues too. She discovered she wasn't hitting the correct (purple) download button.I sure hope, if anyone has problems getting files downloaded, they too will email me. :)

If anyone ever has any problems downloading a file I'm always happy to email them. Thank you for contacting me so I could make sure you have the file. I've been places where I've had trouble getting downloads and it's sure no fun.

  13. It appears that you do have to sign up and then log in to download the file but no program to download. I did have to open Studio before the file would download. Don't know if it is a studio glitch or what. On my old laptop the file would then open in Studio but on this one I still have to open the file after it is downloaded. Go figure.

Thanks for this cute file. I am sure that goodies will find their way into one or two at Christmas time.
