Personalized Mini Album and Tutorial

Next week is my granddaughter's birthday. I sure have been busy making all kinds of birthday goodies. The cupcake toppers are done, the banner is done, the favor box is designed and I still have lots to do.

The one thing I couldn't resist making for our little Avelyn is a personalized mini album to be a part of her baby book. I'll add more pictures after the party. This mini album has to have he first birthday pictures in it. :)

Making this mini album was very easy and went together pretty fast. I only had to us 2 pieces of card stock to cut all of the album pages and 2 colored pieces of card stock for the letters in her name.

Getting the photos re-sized and designing little frames for each one took the most time. The results were wonderful! I did a little embellishing but will add some more later on.

These pictures below and in the tutorial only show one of the pages to give everyone an idea of an almost finished page. This is a small mini album. It measures 2 inches wide by 9 inches in length after it is all together but it still held a lot of little pictures. I'm sure you can see, the theme for her party is ladybugs. :)

The tutorial will show you step by step, how to make your own personalize mini album. Of course, when I make a video this is when I mess up. If anything in the video needs more of an explanation please feel free to email me.

  3. Hi Debbie, I just got a Silhouette, and found your video on how to make the mini album...Great tutorial, thank you for posting it...it mentioned that I could get the template for it on your blog, and I am not finding it. I am very new to the software and would really like to make this album for my granddaughters birthday on Jan 2nd....If I could get the template it would get me started in the right track and save me a lot of time...
    Thank you
